The Departure

Well we made it to the airport on time. Sitting on our Toronto bound flight. Boy 345am is really early to be getting out of bed for the day.

I had a choice of reading material for the flight. John Grisham's The Broker or some magazines. I went the magazine route, SI and The Hockey News.

After making nearly $350 online on thursday night, I busted from a 95 person mtt in 3rd. Final table, I have 30k in sb, bb has 55k. 3 handed I get AQo. Before betting there is 6000 in the pot with blinds and antes. I push all-in and he insta-calls with 78o. Wierd play.

Last night was horrible. $20 180 person SNG on stars. Early in the donkey part of the tourney, I limp in late position with K10o. Button raises and everyone calls. I call hoping for a miracle flop. Flop comes K103. Myself and the raiser get all our chips in. He has AK. Turn is an A.

A few other tourneys with bad results and then my last tourney is an 18 person shorthanded SNG on stars. 1st hand I limp in with 99. Button goes all-in. I'm thinking wtf. Then I thought what the hell, I'm calling, I felt like doubling up or not playing. Sweet he has AhQh. Vroom vroom...let's race. Way too early and a stupid call on my part but what the hell. So the flop?

10HJHKH

Ok so race over...I'm not sure what the odds are of a flopped royal but I've never seen one.

So that was all for online poker for me. My next update will be from Vegas. O and for those of you thinking who cares about what I am doing? Why the hell are you here reading this?

Go Sens Go!
