Well I hit the loft last night for their $60 buy-in tourney and took it down proving to myself again that I just love to win. My record playing live lately is huge, I had the Team Tourney cash which was +700. Right after that I hit the loft tourney for a win of +690 then WNP for +150 then my house for +170. Renfrew was +100 with the cash games and then last night was +490 with a 1st place.
I hit a great run last night. After dropping all the way to 1200 I pushed all-in with AJ (blinds were 70/140) and hit A10. After more than doubling I had Q4 in the BB. Jinny limped from the button with 104s and we both flopped a set and ended up all-in. I then didn't play a hand until 40 mins into the final table. I limped when the blinds were 200/400. I only had 4000 left and everyone insta mucked putting me on a big hand. It was me and the bb and the flop was 433. I didn't bet until the river and he called me with Jack high which was wierd.
Still needing to win a big pot and 7 handed I decided to play 33 from the button. After raising to 1200 the sb pushed all-in for 900 more. I prayed/insta called and sweet he had AK. The A hit the flop and a 3 hit the turn. About 1 orbit later I went toe to toe with the monster stack I raised to 1400 with QQ. He re-raised to 2400 total. I instantly pushed all-in. Having played with this player my read was A8. I talked and talked until I got a call by A4s. I took down that pot and was huge. I then began raising every hand. JJ UTG and made my standard I have crap raise and the bb who was 2nd in chips went all-in. I instacalled without counting (duh) and he had AK. My JJ held up and I was more than huge which 80% of the chips on the table 4 handed.
4 handed was fun with all those chips. If anyone raised on my blinds I just went all-in. There was one hand that was strange when a guy raised UTG and I look down in the BB and see AJs. I was going to push all-in but someone beat me to it. I wasn't sure what to do so I folded. It ended up A10 vs 88. An Ace hit the flop and I was thinking I missed an opportunity until the turn was a 10.
We were then 3 handed and I busted a guy with 22 vs Q10s. He had 2 overs and a flush draw on the flop, the turn gave him a gutshot, 2 overs and the flush draw but the river didn't help him and my 2s held up.
Heads up, I had a very big chip lead and my opponent couldn't get a hand. I raised from the button every hand and he decided to protect finally and called my raise. The flop came KK3 and he instantly pushed all-in. I called with AA and he had 53 and it was all over.
I still am not sure when I am playing again but I have coffee money for the week. Woot woot WNP players!!
