Its been a slow week blog-wise. It took me all week to post about Saturday night. I basically skipped the game Sunday night.
Sunday's game was pretty simple. I got my all my chips in on the turn with 10Jo on a rainbow AK5Q board. I was certain my opponent had AK and he did. 2 players announced they folded an A and a K but a K hit on the river and I was dead.
Wednesday night at WNP was a good time. I played nearly every hand early. I was sitting with about 2400 at the 70/140 level. This level to me is the make or break level. Towards the end of the level I raised to 400 UTG + 1 5 handed with KHQH and skippy pushed all-in. I folded pretty quickly. The next hand I got AQo and I raised to 400 again leaving myself 1500 and another player put me all-in based on where she was at the table I was pretty certain she had AQ crushed but at this point I actually decided I didn't care and did not feel like playing shortstacked so I threw my chips in and ran into KK. I missed the board completely and was home by 11pm...woot woot.
One of the other exciting things happening in my life is I went on a diet called "inovacure". Losing and gaining wieght is not a new thing for me. In the last 6 years, I have lost and gained 60 pounds 3 times. The cool thing about inovacure is they have a solid plan once you reach your goal wieght. I had 60 pounds to lose once again and I have already lost 14.5 in just over a week. I just figured I would see how many people read my blog by talking about something that has nothing to do with poker.
2 more sleeps until Turning Stone...woot woot!
